For the second year in a row the staff, doctors and families of TSO Kerrville participated in the 14th Annual Holiday Lighted Parade and Courthouse Lighting Ceremony.
The parade's entrants included businesses, non-profits, marching units, youth groups and autos, all of which prepared floats and were then judged based on creativity, illumination and holiday spirit. Judges for the evening were all downtown business owners: Tomasa O’Hern of Yeo-Bo’s Café, Keri Wilt of Grape Juice and president of the Historic Downtown Business Alliance, and Erica Peck of Erica Rose Boutique.
Grand Marshal for the evening was District 53 State Representative Andrew Murr and his family, who led the parade through the streets of downtown Kerrville.
In addition to the 75 plus entries that participated, thousands of spectators lined the streets of Kerrville to view what is considered the start of the holiday season for the Hill Country. Kimberly Snyder, Main Street Manager commented, “Even with rainfall in the forecast, we were blessed with a beautiful evening the whole community came out to enjoy.”
